The Philippine Fashion Week S/S 2016 Collections was amazing! This although this season is just 2 days, its full of must-have collections, from gents to ladies; from boyish to girlish; from kikay to astig gents. These collections were all must-haves.
November 27, 2015, it was Miss Kaye Morales and Sir Jeffrey Rogador's tandem.
KAYE MORALES: Rebel!
This is so coll, where I really find awesome. I am into slightly Japanese-inspired style and some dark matching whites and some are grey. And what caught me the most about Miss Morales' show was her quotation. Said,
"This is a revolution of self and I want it to be beautiful. The intent is to unshackle myself from the chains of expectations, to deviate from my own deviations. My goal is to liberate myself from the closet of normative constructs. I am coming out from the prison of prejudgment, screaming with laughter, draped in vibrant colors and outlandish designs. This is me proclaiming with naked honesty the things that I love —and these things make me who I am". - www.philippinefashionweeklive.com
"I am coming out from the prison of judgment.
And these are the things that makes who I am.
This is my revolution of self.
I AM OUT AND PROUD!"
- KAYE MORALES

JEFFREY ROGADOR: Fish Market!
We all know that Sir Rogador really empowered Filipino and his proponent of Filipino pride, never runs out of uncommon inspirations. This time leaping off from Jose Rizal’s famous metaphor about loving one’s language and rotting fish, his SS2016 collection, “Fish Market” is a textured, monochromatic take on his sportswear staples.
Knitted fabrics, sequins, and the stark gray, black, and silver of the well-loved milkfish (bangus) take center stage in Jeffrey Rogadro’s new collection, while updating his signature pieces with hints of genderless dressing. Long cardigan dress shirts, apron skirts, fisherman pants all make their debuts in Jeffrey’s celebrated roster of separates, showing this designer’s eagerness not just to move forward–but to take on more uncommon inspirations as he brings history and nationalism to the public eye in his own unique, fashion ways. - philippinefashionweeklive.com

Next set was Erwin Tan and Sidney Perez Sio's Collections! Now after the unisex-designs. Let's go to the all-lady designs, what I mean is let's go to gown collections of Sir Erwin and Sidney!
ERWIN TAN: Song Of The Star!
Sir Erwin's collections were sexy. The collections comes with Red (that makes the models and collections sexier); Black and White.
Deep, dark, dramatic. Characterized by differing volumes and varying lengths, Erwin Tan’s SS2016 series of evening dresses boasts of classic cuts and silhouettes, updated with embellishments in lace appliques, crystal beadings, floral embroideries, and rich fabrics.
Fabric manipulation plays a key role in “Song of the Stars.” Silk tulle, satin, lace, and gazaar are highlights of Erwin Tan's collection, featuring bold reds and shadowy blacks, punctuating the glamorous and classic theme which the collection strives to achieve. Remaining true to his fashion ethos of wearable couture, stars shall collide and sing celestial symphonies in Erwin Lee Tan's red carpet-ready collection. - philippinefashionweeklive.com

SIDNEY PEREZ SIO: Grounded Couture!
Sidney has found his stride in fusing two seemingly opposing sides: sportswear chic, and Filipiniana flare. Branching out from his previous seasons, Sidney Perez-Sio’s PhFW SS2016 story is one that talks about an assertive sort of femininity–active, powerful, yet flowing and soft. These contrasts are further underlined in his clear barong inspirations: typically menswear, but interpreted in such a cosmopolitan way that will make one wish barongs could be worn on the daily. Clearly Sidney sees no problem in that, as he continues to bring the iconic Filipino piece to the active, stylish streets of the world. - philippinefashionweeklive.com

After that, we proceed to Pangaea, City of Dreams Manila for the ETC presents the Opening Night Philippine Fashion Week x ECT Fashion Block Party! And where we all party night-long! Stylist, Fashion Designers, Bloggers, Models and some known personalities partied that time.
